The B Div Bowen Bullets paraded their superiority in a NZ Inter-Schools Group B match at Spectra Secondary this afternoon by defeating Riverside Secondary School with a landslide score line of 10-0.

The Bullets raced off to a strong start and kept their opponents locked in their own half for most of the game. Bullets midfield creator Aizal M.'s shot from inside the box in the 6th min was palmed out by the Riverside goalkeeper only for the incoming Bullets striker Matin Uzair to side-foot the ball in from close range.

The floodgates opened after the first goal. Bowen switched gears to romp to a 4-0 lead by half time with goals from Shakir (15th min, 32nd min) and Sharveen (18th min). There was even room for a missed penalty in the 17th min when Sharveen placed the spot kick straight at the goalkeeper.

The 2nd half was no different except for a pair of substitutions (Zulhilmi and Mark Koh coming in for Yusri and Aizal respectively).

Skipper Muhd Tahalif nodded in a long free kick by fellow centre-back H. Aniq in the 46th min to resume the goal-scoring spree. The result was a foregone conclusion by the time Matin slotted in Bowen's 6th goal in the 69th minute.

Mark (72nd), Muhd Zamani (73rd), Shakir (75th) and Muhd Zulhilmi (79th) top up the Bullets goal tally as Riverside's resistance wilted under constant pressure from the Bullets.
With the victory, the Bowen Bullets has secured a place in the inaugural School Premier League with one more game to play against Pei Hwa Secondary.
