Try as they might, the C Div boys from Bowen Secondary could not stop the rot in their ranks as they went down 2-6 against an energetic Fuchun side in this afternoon's NZ Inter-School match at Serangoon Secondary School.
The Bullets were nervous in defence and gave the Fuchun attackers too much room to maneuver. By half-time, they were 3-0 down and struggling to lift their spirits.

After the half-time talk, the Bullets were momentarily renewed to save their season. 5 minutes into the half, Bullets striker Muhd Ariffin offered a ray of hope when he lobbed the ball over the Fuchun goalkeeper from a free kick to reduce the deficit.
Just a minute later, Bullets striker Muhd Aadil collected the ball in Fuchun's half and delivered an inch-perfect pass onto the run of his teammate Ariffin who carried it confidently behind the defence and shot into an empty net.
But the revival never came to fruition as Fuchun continued their dominance in midfield and the Bullets went stale again. A free kick from Fuchun floated over Bowen keeper Koei in the 40th minute and Fuchun was able to breathe again.

The Bullets gave up the fight as Fuchun scored again in the 51st and 60th minute through another freekick and a penalty conceded by right back Muhd Afiq.
With this latest lost, the Bullets are now out of the running for the 2nd round, with one more match against Yishun Secondary 2 days later.
