The B Division Boys from Bowen gain some measure of revenge over St. Joseph's Institution (SJI) in their first School Premier League match at the Cage Sports Park this afternoon.

It tool the Bullets half an hour to get going in their showdown with SJI who beat them 4-2 at the quarter-final group encounter last season, but when they did, there was no holding the Bullets back.
SJI pressed high early in the match to get a footing in the match and \nearly caught the Bullets cold on several occasions but the Bowen backline stood firm and managed to foil SJI before they could create any openings.

Bullets No. 9 Aizal got the first real chance at goal in the 11th minute but he ballooned the ball from 20m out. Fellow striker Matin then diverted a cross from winger Muhd Zamani on the left tamely into the SJI keeper's hands.
Lees than a minute from the half-time whistle, Aizal's measured cross from the right found the head of Bullets skipper Muhd Tahalif who glanced a looping header over the outstretched arms of the SJI keeper into the goalmouth.

6 minutes into the 2nd half, Bowen extended their lead when Muhd Zamani chased down a ball going out for an SJI goal kick. With an SJI defender guiding the ball out, it seemed like a lost cause, but Zamani managed to pick his pocket and in a moment of panic, the defender pushed Zamani to the ground. The referee blew for a penalty which Zamani converted with aplomb.

The Bullets settled down to control the final 15 minutes as Muhd Rasydan, Muhd Zulhilmi, Mark Koh and Muhd Yusri all came on for a comfortable run out.
