The C Div boys from Bowen expected a close contest in this afternoon's NZ Inter-Schools match-up against Siling Sec, but they were pleasantly surprised that their opponents' spirit could not withstand the Bullets' 4-min onslaught in the first half which saw the Bullets score 3 goals to win 4-0.

Siling Sec were aggressive and determined in the first 20 minutes but as the match wore on, they began to tire and lose focus. In the 24th min, Bullet Muhd Zamani chased a through ball in the penalty box and was bundled over by the Siling goalkeeper. Team mate Muhd Tahalif converted the spot kick which sparked off a period of dominance.

Straight from the kick-off after conceding the goal, Siling lost the ball under heavy pressure from the Bullets' midfield and Bullets striker Aizal Murhamdani did well to blast the ball past the Siling custodian again once he made space for the shot. Dazed and shocked, Siling had problems getting out of their own half and in the 28th min, Bullets left-back Muhd Rasydan was able to advance just outside the penalty box to unleash a left-footed shot into goal.

At 3-0 up, the Bullets were cruising in the second half while Siling gradually lost their composure. Muhd Zamani capped a series of good team pressure play in and around Siling's penalty box with a left-footed shot that whizzed past an unsighted Siling goalkeeper for the Bullets' final goal in the 42nd min.

It was painful to watch the Siling team after that as the players lost focus and began to joke with one another. Their play started to become dangerous as they tackled recklessly and committed bad fouls, prompting Bullets Coach Lim Queen Cher to make four substitutions in the last 15 minutes to avoid injuries to key players for the crucial match against Sengkang Sec on Thursday.
