| Bowen Bullets well-supported at home |
With the comfort of playing in their own den, the C Div boys from Bowen Secondary School registered a convincing 4-0 victory over Woodgrove Secondary School in the North Zone Inter-Schools match this afternoon.

| Bullets starting another raid |
Recovering from the disappointment of losing to the Singapore Sports School just 2 days ago, the Bullets went on the offensive right from the first whistle. Before Woodgrove could step into the Bullets half, they conceded a nervous penalty in the very first minute, pushing Bullets midfielder Muhd Zamani to the ground in the box. Zamani converted the penalty himself to cheers of approval from the home supporters who were watching their team play for the first time. It was not long before the supporters had something to cheer about. The Bullets doubled the lead 3 minutes later, again through a penalty converted by Muhd Tahalif.

Woodgrove gave away a needless third penalty 2 minutes after the restart when Bullets left-winger Brendan Tan was swiped off his feet in the penalty box. Captain Benny Tan stepped up to take the penalty but was denied by the Woodgrove goalkeeper twice before pouncing on the second rebound to slot in from close range.

In the 57th min, Bowen scored their fourth and final goal off a free kick floated into the box. Bullets midfielder Muhd Tahalif rose majestically to nod the high ball beyond the reach of the goalkeeper.
